*Who We Are*

Olusiji Balogun Foundation is a non-governmental organization (NGO) established by Olusiji Balogun/aimeda at contributing to societal development and saving lives/particularly among the less privileged.Here are some key aspects of the foundation.

Medical OUtreach:   On September 7,2024,the foundation organized a free medical outreach program in Ase-Akoko,Ondo State,which included medical check-ups,health talks,and drug distribution.This event was part of Olusiji Balogun's birthday celebration and reflected his commitment to giving back to the community.

Book Launch:   The foundation was officially introduced during the launch of Olusiji Balogun's book,Drag On-A True Life Experience of Olusiji Balogun",which chronicles his journey with HIV diagnosis,stigma,and resilience.The book aims to increase awareness,promote empathy,and advocate for policy reforms.
Philosophy:   Accroding to the foundation's Philosophy. It's not just about personal success but about using one's gift ,knowledge ,and experience to uplift others.

Some notable activities and achievements of the Olusiji Balogun Foundation include: Free Medical Outreach:   providing medical services to those in need with a focuse on health education and disease prevention.

Community Engagement:  Engaging with local communities to promote health, well-being,and social development.

Aims/Objectives

Olusiji Balogun foundation (OBF) is a Non Governmental Organisation, founded by Aremo Olusiji Balogun with the primary aim of saving lives and also to promote welfare activities aimed at the alleviation of human suffering and overall amelioration of the less privileged in the society

.

Overall Objective of Olusii Balogun Foundation (OBF).

a) To enlighten the people through medical outreach in order to save lives.
b) To add a voice against stigmatization of people living with HIV.
c) To create awareness among the people regarding HIV/AIDS ,TB and other chronic disease.
d) To work for the upliftment of the status of the people especially women and less privileged in the society . To work against the victimization of     girl/women and the less privileged by anybody in the society regarding female circumcision or any other related issues.
e) To propagate the need for tree plantation/pollution control and environment awareness.
f) To help and generate training programme for self employment of the people especially women and the less privileged and also eductae them to attain self sustainability.
g) To create the means for providing medical assistance to the people suffering from diseases , especiallyfor the less privileged.
h) To provide help under health and nutrition services for women , cgildren and the less privileged.
i) To establish library and reading room in nearly communities.
j) To create training/education centre and heath centre in the community.
k) To publish newspaper , magazine ,journal and to reproduce works of arts, literature ,science , craft and other allied works/collections of works of arts for instruction and impacting useful knowledge.
l) To provide help/shelter/facilities for old people, children, disabled persons and the less privileged in order to enhanced their welfare.
m) To organise forums, seminars, camps etcfor spreading good living habits, moral values, cultures and methods of developing self confidence etc and to create centres for the above activitirs.
n) To work for the uplifting the poor rural/village people for their overall development.
o) To provide scholarship/financial help to poor rural /village peoplefor their overall development. p) To provife help to people seffering from Natural disaster such as flood, earthquakes, motor accidents etc.
q) To educate people against drugs and alcohol abuse
r) To To arrange lands, buildings and other facilities for running schools/college institution/library etc.
s) To raise funds through collection, donations or subscriptions and other means and invest money or incur expediture in such manner are shall expenditure in such manner as shall promote the attainment of aims and obective of OBF.
t) To undertake any other work or assignment which may be for the general welfare of the people commitment apart from saving lives with available resources.
